Profile Summary

I am the co-founder of Westminster Wealth Management, one of London’s largest Chartered independent financial planning firms. Since establishing the business in 2000, we have grown to a team of over 50 advisers and 100 support staff, collectively managing more than £2 billion of client assets. We work predominantly with families, as well as trusts, businesses, and charities, delivering high-quality, independent financial advice. As both a Chartered Financial Planner and Chartered Wealth Manager with over 35 years of experience, I specialise in creating clear, personalised financial strategies that help clients make confident decisions about their future. My expertise includes tax-efficient investing, estate planning, portfolio management, and wealth preservation, particularly in complex financial situations. My focus is always on helping you achieve your financial goals while providing reassurance and clarity. I believe advice should be straightforward, free from jargon, and delivered with a commitment to exceptional service. Our first meeting is a relaxed, no-obligation conversation to understand your goals and explore how your financial plan could take shape.

Investment Philosophy & Approach

My investment philosophy is built on clarity, discipline, and a long-term perspective. I believe successful financial planning begins with a clear understanding of your personal objectives, time horizons, and attitude to risk. Every strategy I develop is tailored to your individual circumstances, ensuring your investments are aligned with both your financial goals and your comfort level. I take a diversified approach to investing, using a broad range of asset classes and tax-efficient solutions where appropriate. Rather than attempting to predict short-term market movements, my focus is on constructing well-balanced portfolios designed to deliver sustainable growth while managing risk across different market conditions. Ongoing reviews are a key part of my approach. As your circumstances evolve and markets change, your strategy should adapt accordingly. My role is to provide structure, informed guidance, and reassurance, helping you stay focused on your long-term objectives while protecting and preserving your wealth.

Fees & Charging Structure

Kevin’s fees are tailored to each client, reflecting the level of advice, complexity, and services required. Before any work begins, all costs are clearly explained and agreed with you, ensuring full transparency and no unexpected charges. For investment and pension advice, fees are typically based on a percentage of the amount invested or transferred. This usually ranges between 1% and 3% of the funds, depending on the size of the investment. If you choose to receive ongoing advice and regular reviews, there may be an additional annual fee, generally between 0.5% and 1% per year. In some cases, advice may instead be provided on an hourly rate, a fixed project fee, or a combination of fee types, depending on your needs. Any fees are only applied with your explicit agreement and are often deducted directly from your investment or pension plan for convenience. Importantly, financial advisers have not been permitted to receive commission from investment or pension providers since 2012. This means Kevin is paid solely by his clients, helping to ensure advice remains independent and focused on your best interests.
